Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan
The Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan sets out how urban growth across Western Sydney can proceed alongside genuine protection for the region's native environment. It's a plan with a lot riding on it: koala habitat, native flora and fauna, and public trust that development and conservation aren't a contradiction.
The brief was to turn dense policy into something people would actually watch and understand. Working from the plan's technical detail, I led concept development, storyboards, illustration and animation to produce two flagship animations that explain how growth and conservation can work together - in language and imagery built for a general audience, not planners.
Shorter cut-downs extended the campaign across social platforms, carrying the same clarity into a faster-scrolling context without losing the substance underneath.
